2024 Top 40 Under 40: Brian Bohannan

Brian Bohannan was fortunate enough for his own mentor, friend, and hero to ask him to join the JB Warranties (JBW) team after he graduated from The University of Texas at Austin: his dad, Jeff “JB” Bohannan. When Brian Bohannan left home at 18 to join the active duty Marine Corps, his goal was to one day return home to serve at his father’s side. Ten years later, he was invited to join the claims administration team at JB Warranties. Packing up the U-Haul and moving his family from Austin back home to the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area would turn out to be one of the best decisions Bohannan ever made.
Since Bohannan joined the JBW team, some of his noteworthy HVAC accomplishments involve the expansion of its sales team into all 50 states and Canada. Under Bohannan’s leadership, JBW has grown over 30% year-over-year, and is on pace to grow even more in 2024. Bohannan also notes one of his biggest achievements to be helping cultivate the culture at JBW.
“We are proud of our family-owned and private group of companies that support JB Warranties Corp.,” Bohannan said. “I am privileged to have relationships with the major equipment manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and industry partners. Many of these relationships have evolved into friendships that go beyond professional relationships.”
Looking forward, Bohannan’s goal is that by the time he retires, every system in North America will have a protection plan from JB Warranties standing behind it.
