Description: Xylem has made enhancements to its optimyze modular condition monitoring solution, including the addition of a new pressure monitoring feature to complement the existing vibration and temperature monitors. The optimyze package, which can be added to Bell & Gossett pumps, has simple-to-use smart features that utilize predictive analysis to identify potential equipment problems before they occur. Highly sensitive optimyze technology is precision-designed to detect changes in vibration, temperature, and now pressure across a range of fixed and rotating assets. Optimyze sensors, through periodic tracking and reporting, allow everyday users to access simple-to-use monitoring tools to measure equipment health using the intuitive optimyze mobile application. The new optimyze Pressure Sensor measures differential pressure, which can indicate potential equipment failure. The Bluetooth-enabled pressure sensors are installed in the piping and are available in three versions for pressure ranges from 0-100 psi, 0-250 psi and 0-500 psi. Other key features include condition monitoring of mechanical and electrical assets enabling predictive maintenance, asset management including asset location, maintenance logs, size, manufacturing date and reminders, asset health transparency to optimize reliability, optimized reporting that helps to simplify documentation, manage system maintenance and inform purchasing, and more.
