Description: The A98MV 98% AFUE high efficiency modulating furnace under the Armstrong Air and AirEase brands features modulating heat for superior comfort and qualifies for up to $600 in tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act. With a 98% AFUE efficiency rating, 98% of the fuel is converted into usable heat. Compared to an older furnace, this can potentially save homeowners hundreds of dollars per year in energy costs. With a variable-speed fan motor, the change of airflow speed during start-up allows the A98MV furnace to adjust humidity levels and create more even temperatures throughout the home, all while enhancing efficiency and reducing operating noise. The modulating furnace can be paired with the Armstrong Air and AirEase Pro Series variable-capacity air conditioner or heat pump and a Comfort Sync thermostat for optimum performance.
