New Leadership, Board Members at Hydraulic Institute

The new officers on the Hydraulic Institute's board of directors will each serve a one-year term.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — The Hydraulic Institute, the largest association of pump manufacturers and suppliers to the pump industry in North America, named new board of directors leadership during its 2024 annual conference in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
Scott King, president and CEO at Gorman-Rupp Co., transitioned into the role of chairman, and John Donatiello, senior vice president of strategy and business development at Hydro Inc., was appointed board president. Charles Pope, president and general manager at Patterson Pump Co., transitioned into the role of treasurer, and Ansell Sims, president of Grundfos USA, was appointed secretary.
Each officer serves a one-year term that ends in February 2025.
Three new members joined the board. Gregory Case, chief product officer, Taco Comfort Solutions; Gregory Levine, corporate vice president, Franklin Electric; and Daniel McGrath, senior vice president of sales, Nidec Motor Corp., will serve three-year terms that end in 2027.
Outgoing chairman Brian Sweeney, president, Crane Pumps & Systems, will continue to serve as an ex-officio member of board.
