FALLS CHURCH, Va. — Daniel Quinonez, who has a background in association management and public affairs, is the new executive director of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors–National Association (PHCC) Educational Foundation, which helps contractors and their employees meet the challenges of the constantly changing plumbing, heating, and cooling industry.

Before joining the PHCC, Quinonez served as a senior account executive for the Kellen Co., an association management company. In this capacity, he served as the executive director of both the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) and the Professional Electrical Apparatus Reconditioning League (PEARL), playing a pivotal role in expanding and promoting these organizations through various initiatives, including education, outreach, technical advancement, and advocacy, according to a press release from the PHCC.

Quinonez’s career has taken him across the country, and he has represented several organizations within the building industry. He served the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in Washington D.C., where he advocated for home-building industry. His expertise also contributed to the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Grocery Manufacturers Association (now the Consumer Brands Association, or CBA), and the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA).

Quinonez served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 12 years.
