PRICE INCREASES

Allied Air Enterprises (West Columbia, South Carolina) announced a price increase of up to 8%, beginning Oct. 1, 2021.

Lennox Industries (Richardson, Texas) will be increasing prices up to 8% percent on residential and commercial equipment, accessories, and parts, effective Sept. 1, 2021.

MANUFACTURERS

Greenheck Group (Schofield, Wisconsin) accepted the 2020 American Legion Large Employer of Veterans Award.

Arcline Investment Management (San Francisco) acquired a controlling stake in Dwyer Instruments (Michigan City, Indiana).

Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (Suwanee, Georgia) named Michelle Thomas to vice president, human resources.

Sur-Seal Company (Cincinnati) acquired Spectex (Dover, New Hampshire).

Innovair Corporation (Miami) has been acquired by Ouellet Group (L’Islet, California).

RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTORS

Anthony Perera, founder of Air Pros USA (Davie, Florida) and Inspected.com, was named an honoree in the 2021 South Florida Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Awards.

COMMERCIAL CONTRACTORS

Wiegmann Associates (St. Charles, Missouri) was awarded a 2021 Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) Safety Excellence Award in the 200,001-300,000 man-hour category.

Integrated Facility Services (St. Louis) has completed the transaction to become 100% employee-owned through its newly created employee stock ownership plan.

Gryphon Investors (San Francisco, California) acquired Wittichen Supply Company (Birmingham, Alabama).

ASSOCIATIONS

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced that Wesley Davis, ACCA director of technical services, received the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Distinguished Service Award.

The Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) launched a new brand, “Propane Energy for Everyone.”

The Unified Group was purchased by Janet Kelleher.
