AAON Announces Retirement of Jim Taber
Taber served AAON for 68 years

TULSA, Okla. — AAON announces the retirement of Jim Taber, purchasing trainer, after celebrating 68 years with the company this week.
Taber started at the company’s predecessor in 1953, and he made the decision to join AAON at its inception in 1988. He was the first buyer in the AAON purchasing department. His contributions were essential in growing the company from around $8 million in annual sales to now over $500 million.
“Please join me in congratulating Jim Taber on 68 years of dedicated service with the company and on his well-earned retirement,” said Norman Asbjornson, AAON founder and executive chairman. “This is an unprecedented achievement at AAON and in our industry. He set an example that the team at AAON all strive to follow.”
