DETROIT — Cochrane Supply & Engineering announced that BASfest | The Tour has converted into a hybrid event series. BAS (building automation system) industry professionals, including system integrators, HVAC and mechanical contractors, service technicians, engineers, facility managers and more, now have six options to attend the tour in-person or virtually through a virtual event platform.

All six BASfest events will take place in early October 2020, with each stop including a trade show featuring 12 of the industry's manufacturers, seven hours of educational seminars, networking, giveaways and more. It's being offered as a complimentary event series by Cochrane Supply.

"We're excited to be able to present this no-cost event in a hybrid format so it's accessible to any BAS professional based on their preference and/or current situation," said Scott Cochrane, president and CEO of Cochrane Supply & Engineering and President of Canada Controls. "Any resources we can provide to help BAS companies and professionals excel in the industry is part of our ongoing mission, and this tour aims to do that in a new and exciting way."

Every BASfest attendee will be entered to win a $1,200 BAStimulus Check, or one of six $100 BAStimulus Checks. All attendees who participate in a BASfest event, including virtual ones, will have access to a free event t-shirt and face mask as well.
