ORLANDO, Fla. – On Sunday night, Emerson hosted its annual pre-AHR Expo party, which coincided with this year’s Super Bowl. The event was held at Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs, and people were packed into every corner of the restaurant to watch the game.

As far as the Expo is concerned, Emerson’s focus will be on its new products, as well as helping contractors and industry partners navigate the complexities of the U.S. regulatory landscape.

As Andre Patenaude, director of solutions integration, cold chain at Emerson noted, “We’re really focused on refrigerant regulations right now — especially meeting California’s regulations.”

In its booth at the Expo, Patenaude said the company would be highlighting its Copeland Indoor Modular Solution, which is a water-cooled integrative display case option that uses R-448A.

“It’s really unique, because you’ll be able to do a whole case with one unit instead of multiple units for one case,” he said. “We also will be highlighting our digital X Line condensing unit, which is a low-charge distributed architecture that can meet California’s under 50-pound regulations. The third product we’re highlighting is a new innovative architecture that we’re calling the Emerson microbooster. It’s all about using a low-GWP gas for medium- and low-temperature applications to meet the regulations. We’ll also be covering what’s going on with CO2 and propane.”

At booth #2101, Emerson will also be exhibiting the latest innovations from its leading brands, including ASCO™, Cooper-Atkins™, Copeland™, Dixell™, Greenlee®, Klauke®, ProAct™, RIDGID®, Sensi™, Therm-O-Disc™, and White-Rodgers™.
