MINNEAPOLIS — The Energy Conservatory (TEC) has announced Bill Graber as its new partner and vice president of sales and marketing. Graber will take over for Frank Spevak, who will leave the marketing and sales role at the end of the year.

Graber brings an extensive background in business leadership, sales, and marketing from his 30 years of experience with measurement instrumentation. Previously, he was a business director at Tolomatic Inc. for three years, and spent 27 years at Emerson, growing from engineering roles into sales, marketing, and strategy.

“My focus will be on listening to our customers and key organizations within the industry to ensure we continue to meet and exceed the industry’s needs with our products, services, and application expertise,” Graber said. “I am thrilled to be joining The Energy Conservatory and to support our mission of developing technology and processes for improving building environments.”

“We are excited to have Bill join The Energy Conservatory,” said Steven Rogers, president of TEC. “His blend of marketing, sales, and engineering knowledge is uniquely suited to help us evolve our air measurement products and connect with our customers across the building performance and HVAC industries.”

Spevak joined TEC in 1999, and helped introduce its DG-700 and DG-1000 pressure and flow gauges to the market. He will continue to be involved in the industry through training, consulting, and coaching on topics ranging from business purpose and leadership to bringing innovation to market.

“Frank has been instrumental in bringing TEC’s technology to the market during his 21-year tenure,” Rogers said. “I’m sure he will continue to impact the building science industry with his thorough understanding of the market and its key influencers.”
