Purchases building automation systems/HVACR controls simulators
ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. — North Park Innovations Group Inc. announced the addition of the DDC Support Services line of Building Automation Systems HVACR Controls simulators and curriculum to its iConnect Training Unit product line.
This line features benchtop & portable educational solutions for Building Automation Systems HVACR automation controls. These training solutions are specifically designed for training BAS/DDC (building automation system/direct digital control), to teach advanced controls technology to HVAC and BAS controls technicians. The curriculum is designed to be effective as either instructor-led or self-study.
“Adding the DDC Support Services training products to our current offering is another way North Park Innovations is keeping pace with current trends & technology in the Building Automation and HVACR industry,” said North Park Innovations CEO Bill Northrup. “Most commercial buildings now have some form of automation system & control equipment. As businesses look to reduce costs & energy consumption, this important market segment is poised for significant growth and will continue to be a source of high paying jobs for future technicians.”
“I realized that the growing popularity of these products that we developed now needed a larger organization to help them reach their full market potential,” said Jon Vietti, DDC founder. “I’m excited about working with the iConnect Training team to take these instructional packages to the market. It’s been fulfilling to see that schools can add these systems with complete curriculum to train future HVAC technicians in the advancements of Building Automation Systems. I’m also pleased to be able to focus on developing further curriculum levels for the iConnect Training offerings.”
