MILWAUKEE — Recently, cfm Distributors Inc. celebrated its 50^th anniversary at an event hosted in Kansas City, Missouri, where the historic company is based. The event also marked more than 40 years of partnership with the York brand of Johnson Controls. Guests included cfm employees, customers and vendor partners, including two representatives of Johnson Controls: Tim Thorson, executive director of North America residential sales and channel optimization, and Kenneth Blakley, regional technical service manager.

Having represented the York brand since 1978, cfm has become one of the longest York distributor partnerships. To honor the company’s anniversary and its longstanding relationship as a distributor, York presented cfm with a congratulatory letter, as well as a donation of $10,000 to benefit a charity of its choice. The recipient organization will be chosen by a cfm committee comprised of 12 employee owners dedicated to organizing and facilitating donations to different charities, non-profit groups, customers, and neighboring communities.

At the event, cfm president and CEO, Lauren Roberts, and former cfm president and current chairman, Tom Roberts, spoke to guests in attendance with messages celebrating the anniversary milestone, congratulating founding members Bruce Huffman and Amos Roberts, and honoring cfm’s employees and their legacy.
