John Richardson Named Vice President of Finance for Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group
Will be responsible for accounting, financial planning and analysis, and more
NEW ALBANY, Miss. — Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group (RSG) announced that John Richardson was named vice president of finance for the Refrigerated Solutions Group, reporting directly to Kevin Fink, president of RSG.
Richardson will be responsible for all areas related to accounting, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, month-end cycle, and IT support. Richardson will work directly with the RSG leadership team to design and implement operational improvements and automation related to maximizing the financial and accounting efficiency of the company.
“With 30 years of experience supporting global manufacturing operations and R&D [research and development] activities, we feel confident that John will be a valuable asset to RSG,” Fink said.
Richardson recently held a chief financial officer position with Mitchell Companies and prior to that he was vice president of finance for Serta Simmons Bedding Company. He earned his Bachelor of Accounting from Mississippi State University and Masters of Business Administration Finance from University of Mississippi. Richardson will be based in the New Albany office where Master-Bilt is headquartered.
