SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — On April 4, Plumbing & Heating Wholesale Inc. hosted its 2019 Amana Dealer meeting in Sioux Falls.  Amana dealers from three states were in attendance for this event, which encouraged attendees to dissect their HVAC businesses to create a road map for a higher quality of life.

This Business Planning Boot Camp created by Goodman Mfg. and HVAC Contractor Solutions walks dealers through a detailed review of their company’s capabilities, their financial positions, and the markets they serve.  The team dug into the day-to-day operation of their company to establish specific key performance indicators (KPI) for their business.  In roundtable discussions with their peers, they discussed the impact these KPI have on their daily operations, addressed current challenges, and examined how to adjust small processes and behaviors that can have a huge impact on their overall profitability. 

The bootcamp included powerful topics, such as character integrity, cognitive dissonance, self-assessment, the residential HVAC business model, theoretical production analysis, strategic planning, and building a scalable and sustainable business.

Plumbing & Heating Wholesale’s sales staff worked through the bootcamp along side the Amana Dealers to better understand their business and the challenges they face on a daily basis. 

The day wrapped up with an awards ceremony to recognize the amazing success the Amana Dealers had in 2018.  Thirty-eight awards were given out with categories ranging from “Largest Growth” to “Most High Efficient Sales”
