Description: This product features 10:1 mechanical turndown capability. It is an option for a wide variety of commercial and industrial building applications, including new construction and retrofit projects. The aluminum boiler is Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Certified up to 95 percent efficiency and comes standard with the NURO^® Touch-Screen Control System with NURO Connect. Suitable for condensing and noncondensing systems, the cast-aluminum heat exchanger resists corrosive condensate. It has a full-modulation burner with 5:1 turndown; 10:1 mechanical turndown available on natural gas models C750, C900, C1050. According to the company, limiting turndown to 5:1 allows the dew point to be maintained as high as possible, which allows for greater condensation. In an application where the system is sized at a higher capacity than required, higher turndown, like 10:1, can accommodate the imbalance by turning down the input to match the required load.
