Description: First out in the new “R” series line of fixed infrared sensors, this product is a non-contact temperature sensor designed for use in OEM equipment and industrial process control and monitoring applications. The 304 stainless steel housing allows the unit to function in ambient temperatures up to 122°F, with no additional cooling required. All models are powered by 24 VDC to interface with standard programmable logic controllers, temperature controllers, or panel meters. All models have a temperature range of 32° to 932°. Models currently available feature 4 to 20 mA output, a 20:1 distance to spot ratio, and a rated accuracy of  ± 1 percent of reading. The fixed emissivity at 0.95 is suitable for measuring a wide variety of materials. The systems include two stainless steel locking nuts for mounting in an 18-mm or ¾-inch diameter hole.
