MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. — The present requirements for establishing and maintaining a HVACR program are vastly different than those that were in place just a few short years ago. HVACR educators and administrators are becoming bogged down in the education process, leaving little time for a full and thorough program assessment and needs analysis.

HVAC Excellence, in its continued mission to improve the technical competency of the HVACR industry, announced a new program, the HVACR Education Resource Network (HERN). HERN is a network made up of manufacturers, wholesalers, publishers, credentialing bodies, soft skill providers, teaching aid providers, educators and trainers, educational institutions, and other industry-related organizations.

Through HERN, industry leading groups are coming together to support the development of world class HVACR training programs. They will provide schools and other industry training programs with the tools and resources necessary to produce a highly skilled workforce.

HERN will be formally announced during the 2019 National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference, March 3-5, 2019 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas. Learn more about HERN, the ultimate resource and one stop shop for administrators, trainers, and educators by attending the 2019 National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference.
