DAYTON, Ohio — 2J Supply welcomed its third generation of leadership in February naming Kevin Trimbach as COO and Jason Trimbach CEO. The promotions highlight a year filled with milestones for 2J Supply.

The company, which was founded in 1962 by Kevin and Jason Trimbach’s grandfather, Jerry Trimbach, and business partner Jim Winget, now staffs 119 employees.

Both Kevin and Jason Trimbach attribute their successes to the values that originated with 2J Supply’s creation in 1962 and remain intact today.

“If you work hard, you’ll have more than enough to give back to the employees and the community,” said Jason Trimbach.

2J Supply celebrated a 21 percent growth this year. Both Kevin and Jason Trimbach acknowledge that without the previous 55 years of growth, such astounding results would have never been possible.

“My grandpa always wholeheartedly believed in relationships,” said Kevin Trimbach. “He embodied what 2J supply is all about. He was passionate about taking care of customers and cared deeply about employees.”

Jason Trimbach said 2J Supply's previous leaders truly treated vendors like partners and understood how those relationships played a role in the company's success.

“Jeff Runyon [exiting COO] treats people with respect and ensures that we infuse integrity in all aspects of 2J Supply. My uncle Larry [Trimbach, company owner] has been the biggest servant leader I have ever seen. When he interacts with people, he makes sure that he listens and follows through. He always asks, ‘How can I serve you, and how can I help you?’”

Jason Trimbach referenced his dad as someone who’s always believed in excellence and follows his father's lead by striving to "be excellent in everything you do, the way that you treat people, and the way that you handle yourself.”

Kevin Trimbach summed it up very succinctly: "The company’s core values and culture guide its actions."
