CEO of SENSIT Technologies Wins Business Worldwide Magazine Award
VALPARAISO, Ind. — Scott Kleppe, CEO of SENSIT Technologies, was recognized in the Business Worldwide Magazine (BWM) 2018 CEO Awards as “Most Innovative CEO | Natural Gas Industry.”
The CEO awards program seeks to honor C-level executives from around the world and across multiple industries, focusing on the personalities who drive successful corporations and organizations. “The spotlight is on the success of individuals who make the corporations tick… Our intention is to give a worthy individual the recognition he/she deserves as well as to use their example to inspire other companies and business leaders to achieve similar success,” BWM wrote on its website.
Valparaiso, Indiana-based SENSIT Technologies designs, manufactures, and services a complete line of gas leak detection instruments, combustible gas indicators, and confined space monitors. The company was formed by Kleppe’s parents, John and Nancy, in 1980; the company was originally called J and N Enterprises. Scott Kleppe joined the family business in 1984 and took the helm after his father’s death. He has headed the company since 1999.
SENSIT Technologies employs over 100 people and supplies hazardous gas detection technologies to a global market of over 40 countries. SENSIT offers customers a new generation of leak detectors and continues to introduce new products to a range of clients from the HVAC market to the natural gas industry.
