Product: Marley® Series M Geareducer®

Description: The Geareducer^® line is designed and manufactured to directly replace OEM gearboxes in field-erected cooling towers. The primary function of the product is to reduce the speed of the electric motor to optimize fan performance. The M series features gears of case-hardened alloy steel machined to American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) Quality Class 9 and above. It is designed to fit into non-Marley cooling towers and has heavy-duty, double-row interstage bearings for 100,000 hours of life or more. To further extend service life, it is fitted with large oil passageways to help maintain lower oil temperatures. It operates without the need for oil pumps, filters, or coolers. The product features a two-stage gear reduction and external cooling fins to promote cooler operation.
