LG Expands HVAC Vertical Air-handling line

LG Electronics USA Air Conditioning Technologies has expanded its line of vertical air-handling units (VAHUs), providing seamless solutions to integrate into a variety of ducted residential and light commercial applications. The new VAHU units feature a number of upgrades, most notably four-way installation capabilities, offering contractors even more design flexibility.
With four-way installation, the LG VAHUs can be installed vertically, horizontally from the left and right, or inverted with a down-flow conversion kit, affording contractors flexible installation options for virtually any project. For homeowners, a factory-installed LG Dry Contact easily connects to a third-party thermostat. The VAHUs are also Wi-Fi capable, giving homeowners the ability to control their air-conditioning system using the LG SmartThinQTM app alongside other LG Wi-Fi-enabled products.
The LG VAHU lineup includes 18-, 24-, 36-, 42-, and 48-Btuh capacities in one-to-one configurations with the 18-, 24-, and 36-Btuh options also compatible as part of a multi-system with the LG Multi F and LG Multi F Max outdoor units. An electronically commutated motor (ECM) makes them eligible for regional and local rebates. In addition, the VAHUs feature temperature and pressure sensors, enabling them to reach a set temperature in cooling mode very quickly. For more information, visit www.lghvac.com.
