MUNSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Dennis D. Laughlin, 64, of Munson Twp., Ohio, died on Monday, Nov. 6, at his home. 
Laughlin was born Feb. 5, 1953, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to Oliver and Gretna Laughlin and has resided in the Munson Twp. area his entire life.
Laughlin was an avid golfer, wine enthusiast, and enjoyed collecting antiques. He was a management consultant and had run several companies. He spent many years working and developing relationships in the HVACR industry, was past president of Arzel Zoning, and served on the board of directors of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Laughlin also was a member of the board of directors at Valtronic USA and The Orange Effect Foundation. He was a member and past president of The Chardon Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, whom he married Dec. 28, 1973, in Bedford Hts., Ohio; his children Jennifer (Brian Rich) Laughlin and John (Meghann) Laughlin of S. Euclid, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Colton, Miriam, and Ian. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Patrick Laughlin.
A service was held 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. in Chardon, Ohio. The private family interment was held at Union Cemetery in Rock Creek, Ohio.
