The York Direct Fit rooftop replacement solution from Johnson Controls now includes a full line of 3- to 8.5-ton packaged heat pumps. They feature an exact-fit replacement design that matches the units to footprints of other manufacturers’ units and reduces installation time, cost and complexity by eliminating the need for a curb adapter.
Direct Fit systems are easy to install and maintain. Simplicity Smart Equipment (SE) Controls, for example, make system setup, optimization and monitoring easier than older electromechanical controls. This control system is standard on all Direct Fit gas/electric, electric/electric and heat pump packaged and commercial split system configurations.
An optional Mobile Access Portal (MAP) Gateway provides access to the SE control system via a smartphone, tablet, laptop or remote PC.
Additional features include adjustable defrost and three heat capacities, two cabinet heights and footprint sizes, and a choice of cooling or electric heat configurations.
