Columbus, Ohio — HARDI announces that Christopher DeBoer has been promoted to marketing manager. Chris is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design where he studied advertising and graphic design as well as copywriting. Previously, Chris worked at several advertising agencies, the City of Columbus, COTA, Victoria’s Secret plus several other organizations.
The success of HARDI’s recent marketing strategies with the association prompted his promotion. He joined the HARDI team as creative marketing specialist in June.
His duties will include overseeing marketing and branding strategies, new and existing product, service and event promotions, maintaining the team budget and conceiving and developing strategies for social media channels including Twitter, Instagram and YouTube among others.
Chris is eager to take on the challenges that come along with leading a marketing team. “I couldn’t be more honored by my selection to be HARDI’s new marketing manager. I am excited to see what innovations and developments I can help HARDI with in the future,” DeBoer said.
HARDI’s Executive VP, Talbot Gee, said: “HARDI recognizes that our members are continuously inundated with several different marketing messages daily. For this reason, we need to ensure that our messaging is appealing, precise and accurate. HARDI has complete faith in Chris and his ability to make smart and educated marketing decisions on the association’s behalf.”
