Once you have finished reading this content-rich resource, I know you will join me in expressing appreciation for everyone’s individual contributions to this world-class publication.

With HARDI representing the single voice for HVACR wholesale distribution, it is only fitting that we again have a first-rate magazine to communicate the value and importance that wholesale distribution delivers to the industry and our channel. For far too many years wholesale distributors “kept their light under a basket” expecting our channel partners, and even consumers, to understand the important function we perform and the inherent value we deliver.  Fortunately since we became HARDI that trend has changed dramatically and a great publication like Distribution Center will take it to new heights.

I hope you will take the time to read the reports of our committees and councils in detail. They represent the true culture of our organization and it is truly their deliberations and directives that is the engine that powers and sustains our organization.  From HVAC systems to metals, and advocacy to benchmarking, they work tirelessly to make sure our industry continues to be successful and profitable in spite of a struggling economy and unnecessary government interference.

Another very important aspect of this magazine is the terrific support from our suppliers and advertisers. I cannot say enough about the outstanding support they provide to the association, the industry and this magazine. I encourage you to join me in supporting their efforts.

My year as your president is just getting started, and I can assure you that your officers and Board are “out of the blocks” and committed to assuring that our organization builds on our history and continues to produce outstanding value for every one of our members and the industry as a whole. We welcome the opportunity to be of service to the membership, our industry supporters and alliance partners at any time.
