WinWholesale Inc. obtained a majority interest in a new
partnership with Carr Supply and Carr Supply of Michigan. What will this mean
for management?
DAYTON, Ohio - WinWholesale Inc. obtained a majority interest in a new partnership with Carr Supply and Carr Supply of Michigan. The transaction, which closed in February, created a new company that will continue the Carr Supply name and operate as its own entity. The former owners of the company have retained their key management positions and a substantial equity stake in the new partnership.
“Carr Supply is a high quality distributor to include in WinWholesale’s portfolio,” said Jack Johnston, WinWholesale president. “Part of our growth strategy is to invest in well-run wholesaling companies that fit well within their industries and where we want to strengthen our presence. We were attracted to Carr Supply’s long history of excellent customer service and its strong business presence in the markets it serves.”
Carr Supply is a distributor of plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning supplies and equipment, and water well supplies based in Columbus, Ohio. The company also installs shower doors and closet systems. Carr Supply has 13 locations in Ohio and two in Michigan.
