CHICAGO - LG Electronics USA Inc. kicked off the AHR Expo in style at The Field Museum Sunday night in Chicago. The event featured Mick Ebeling, a film and TV producer, philanthropist, and technology trailblazer, as a guest speaker.

“He demonstrated in real, concrete terms what it means to do things that others think are impossible, but when you set your mind to it, it’s possible,” said Lorie Quillin-Bell, director, Go-to-Market, Commercial Air Conditioning Division, LG Electronics USA. “We think, in HVAC technology, there is a great analogy there. “We like to bring together our key rep partners and our customers and talk at a higher level about our vision for the future,” she continued. “This evening is all about technology, strategy, and our market direction. We do a press breakfast that is more specific to the product and the innovation, and how they are applied in buildings. But this is an opportunity for us to talk at a higher level about where HVAC technology currently is. So the theme tonight with our guest speaker is ‘Not Impossible.’

“We really do want to highlight the technology,” Quillin-Bell added. “One of the things LG is very focused on this year is the connectivity that one has with the built environment and the humans that occupy that space – and we have a Controls Group that dedicates that commitment.”
