Ingersoll Rand’s commercial and residential strategic business units today announced a price increase of up to 6 percent on select applied and unitary heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment for Trane^®, American Standard^® Heating & Air Conditioning, and Ameristar^TM equipment. The price increase is effective Jan. 1, 2018 due in part to the increased cost of regulatory compliance and finished goods conversion costs.
