Cambridge Engineering Names New Leaders

Promotions follow the appointment of Marc Braun as the new president

April 26, 2017

ST. LOUIS — Cambridge Engineering continues its vision and planning for the future with promotions of key personnel to executive and management positions.  These promotions follow the appointment of Marc Braun as the new president in January. John Kramer, the former president, continues in his role as CEO.

Doug Eisenhart now fills Braun’s former role as vice president of sales, marketing, and service. Eisenhart brings his clarity, passion, and focus to bear in Cambridge’s continued success. Bruce Kisslinger, Jr., was promoted to director of manufacturing. Kisslinger has been instrumental in growing the manufacturer’s culture of engagement and implementation of Lean manufacturing processes. Dave Sitton was promoted to production manager. Sitton has grown in leadership and responsibility over his decade with Cambridge and has excelled in his internal and external promotion of Cambridge’s Lean culture.

“These promotions reflect the tremendous success our company has achieved, and I’m very proud of all of them,” Braun said. “The new executive and management teams will ensure Cambridge is positioned for continued growth and success through the application of their wisdom, talent, passion, and leadership.”

Cambridge Engineering enjoys a highly-engaged workforce focused on continuous improvement through “Lean” principles. “This approach has truly transformed our company culture, making us more aware of inefficiencies and waste,” Kramer said. “The appointment of Marc, Doug, Kevin, Bruce, and Dave to their new roles furthers our commitment to Lean and finding better ways to bring energy-efficient solutions to the marketplace.”

Cambridge Engineering earned the title of “Manufacturer of the Year” from the Missouri Association of Manufacturers in 2016.  The annual Made in Missouri Leadership Awards honor manufacturing companies and individual leaders that are shaping the future of global manufacturing. Cambridge Engineering was singled out for the association’s top award because of its deep focus on quality, cost, and productivity improvements.

Cambridge products are used to heat and improve indoor air quality in large spaces such as gymnasiums, sports venues, and warehouses. The company has invested heavily in research and development to offer products that save energy, reduce operating costs, and safely improve IAQ in commercial and industrial buildings.

Cambridge is an active member of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Better Buildings Alliance, an initiative of manufacturers and businesses dedicated to reducing energy consumption in commercial spaces by a minimum of 20 percent by the year 2020.
