Description: This patented magnetic and nonmagnetic filtration system begins to capture and remove virtually all of the suspended iron oxide that collects in hydronic heating systems within minutes of installation. Designed for ¾-inch copper and 1-inch National Pipe Thread (NPT) iron pipework, this filter is ideal for residential applications. The compact unit is easily fitted on the return pipe to the boiler/circulator via rapid-fit connectors. It can be installed and serviced in minutes, due to the unit’s quick-release trigger, low-profile drain valve, and built-in air vent. It has a powerful permanent magnet with high, first-pass capture and bidirectional inlet and outlet. The filter can also capture nonmagnetic debris, such as limescale.
