Murphy Co. Attains New ASME Certifications
Can repair and alter boilers and pressure vessels, and more
DENVER — Murphy Co., a mechanical/industrial construction and engineering company, has announced the addition of the following American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) code stamps for its Colorado office: R stamp - repairs and/or alterations of boilers and pressure vessels; U stamp - manufacture of pressure vessels; and PP stamp - fabrication and assembly of pressure piping.
These ASME certifications apply to the set of standards Murphy adheres to in the design, fabrication, assembly, repair, alteration, and inspection of boiler and pressure vessel components. Murphy is authorized to manufacture and stamp a broad range of pressure vessels and products in accordance with the latest ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes.

Murphy employs over 200 unique welding procedures to fabricate pressure vessels from carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, and other exotic alloys.
