Controlco to Transfer its Software Business to Kodaro
With this transfer, company will focus on operations technology and its controls expertise
PLEASANT HILL, Calif. — Controlco, a building automation company, announced it is transferring its software business to Kodaro LLC, a startup company with operations in California’s Bay Area. Software hosting and development for Controlco products will be managed by Kodaro.
“We’re energized by this progression,” said Brian Turner, Controlco president. “The transfer of the software, hosting, and drivers that we have been incubating allows Controlco to focus on deploying operations technology backbones and its controls expertise while providing a new company with a leg-up in the industry.”
This transfer includes Controlco’s CSI3 drivers as well as hosted solutions TenantEye and WorkSimply.
“It’s exciting to launch a new company that starts with such a strong foundation,” said Larry Andriunas, Kodaro president. “These existing products are a great way to introduce Kodaro to the building automation industry and I look forward to quickly expanding on this strong start.”
Controlco will serve as a reseller of Kodaro software products, as will other distributors and contractors.
