Description: This mixing valve installs on a hot water tank to increase hot water capacity by providing greater control over water temperature and flow. The valve allows water to be stored at high temperatures, which helps to extend a water heater’s capacity. It helps minimize the occurrence of Legionella and risk of scalding. By extending hot water capacity, it eliminates the need to replace a hot water tank with a larger-capacity unit. The valve comes complete with integral filters, checks, and union connections and has a lockable temperature adjustment and a 5°F approach temperature.
