The valve allows water to be stored at high temperatures, which helps to extend a water heater’s capacity. It helps minimize the occurrence of Legionella and risk of scalding. By extending hot water capacity, it eliminates the need to replace a hot water tank with a larger-capacity unit. The valve comes complete with integral filters, checks, and union connections and has a lockable temperature adjustment and a 5°F approach temperature.
