ATLANTA — Rheem Mfg. Co. recently earned the nationally acclaimed Partners of Choice Award by David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately held homebuilders. Out of 25 award winners across the U.S., Rheem is one out of 10 companies to achieve an “A” ranking in service for 2016.
“We’ve always admired David Weekley Homes’ commitment to collaborating with its business partners, and Rheem is delighted to be recognized once again with the company’s esteemed Partners of Choice Award,” said John Ballard, senior manager, residential new construction accounts, Rheem. “Rheem strives every day to succeed in providing the best services, and this award proves we are doing something right.”
The award is part of the National Trading Partner Survey where nearly 1,000 David Weekley Homes employees — from executives to project managers — get an opportunity to rank suppliers. The team members were asked to evaluate 200 national partners on the effectiveness in delivering quality and service to the organization multiple times throughout the year. The suppliers earn good grades through demonstrative actions and customer feedback.
“The year-long process is rigorous. Our unique rating process is a quantifiable way to measure excellence,” said Bill Justus, David Weekley Homes’ vice president of supply chain services. “That’s exactly what has happened with Rheem. “Rheem scored a 9.56 rating out of 10 for service — a score that shows Rheem is one of the best-in-class suppliers across the nation.”
In 2013, Rheem earned an “A,A” ranking in both quality and service from David Weekley Homes.
