The Department of Energy (DOE) has issued a pre-publication Federal Register notice changing the public comment period pertaining to energy conservation standards for commercial water heating equipment (July 28, 2016).

• Comments submitted between the close of the original comment period (August 1, 2016) and the start of the reopening will be deemed timely filed and there is no need to resubmit.
• The comment period closes August 30, 2016. 
• Find more information on the rulemaking, including milestones, statutory authority, rulemaking documents, and any other related rulemakings.
• All notices, public comments, public meeting transcripts, and supporting documents associated with this rulemaking are included in Docket No. EERE-2014-BT-STD-0042.
