Phononic Recognized as a 2016 CNBC Disruptor 50 Company
Company is building market traction for its solid-state cooling and heating
DURHAM, N.C. — Phononic, developer of solid-state cooling and heating technology, announced that it has been named to the fourth annual CNBC Disruptor 50 List, recognizing the company as a forward-thinking startup with the potential to influence and change markets. CNBC’s Disruptor 50 is an annual list of private companies challenging the status quo and disrupting current markets across different industries.

Phononic said it is building market traction for its solid-state cooling and heating technology, including its Evolve health care cold storage products, residential wine chillers and refrigerators, soon-to-be-launched high-performance CPU cooler, and climate control initiatives meant to personalize and distribute cooling and heating in the home.
