Description: Tronic 5000C and 6000C electric water heaters are available in kW input models WH17 (Tronic 6000C), WH27 (Tronic 6000C), and WH36 (Tronic 5000C). These compact and lightweight units deliver 97 percent thermal efficiency with minimal standby loss and have modulating elements that help ensure a constant gallons-per-minute (GPM) output temperature for hot water comfort. They also come with a filter screen on the units’ inlet to provide enhanced scale resistance over time. Tronic C models require hard wiring through double-pole breakers in the breaker box and require varying amperage service (WH17 80 A – WH27 120 A – WH36 180 A of electricity).
