EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. — The National Association of Oil & Energy Service Professionals (OESP) announced it will co-host its annual trade show with two other industry groups, Pennsylvania Petroleum Association (PPA) and Atlantic Region Energy Expo (AREE), May 22-26, 2016 at Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Ledyard, Connecticut. OESP’s convention will be held during this trade show. The combined event is being branded as the Eastern Energy Expo.

With this new format, OESP said attendees will see a wide variety of new products and services located on two exhibit floors as well as the traditional outdoor area where there will be live-fired demonstrations.

The convention will focus on OESP’s mission of education with a diverse program, including new National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) gold courses. According to Al Breda, OESP president, “Our name changed a few years ago to better reflect upon the diversity of what our members offer their customers. Many conventional fuel oil dealers have been adding propane to their offerings, as well as HVAC services and plumbing. OESP’s goal is to help by delivering the educational classes and certifications that can better prepare the managers and field personnel to handle the new challenges.”

Many of OESP’s traditional events will continue — the awards banquet will be hosted on Tuesday during the event, the annual Dave Nelsen Scholarship tournament will be expanded, and special events will be planned for technical students as well.
