Description: The COMFORT PM AUTO range of residential circulating pumps offer intelligent and energy-efficient hot water recirculation through its auto-adapt function, which learns and adapts to a household’s consumption patterns. When using the auto-adapt mode, average run times are three hours per day. The single-phase, 115-V pump motor yields up to 6.5 gallons per minute (gpm) and uses two temperature sensors, one within the pump and another connected by a cable installed in the hot water flow pipe. This variable-speed electronically commutated motor (ECM)-based circulator uses an integrated logic algorithm to “learn” the varying energy-usage patterns of an application over time, enabling the software to automatically determine the lowest possible operating efficiency point to meet ever-changing demand.
