May 13, 2015: HVAC Quality Installation Specification Out for Second ANSI Public Review
Public Review Period Has a Comment Deadline of May 31, 2015
ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America Educational Institute (ACCA-EI) Standards Task Team (STT) has announced an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) public review period for its BSR/ACCA 5 QI -201x, “HVAC Quality Installation Specification” as a revised industry standard. The public review period has a comment deadline of May 31, 2015.
The revised standard details the nationally recognized minimum criteria for the proper installation of HVAC systems in residential and commercial applications. The standard applies to HVAC equipment and components being installed in new and existing residential and commercial buildings.
Changes made to the standard draft following the first public review have been consolidated into a one-page document that shows underline for additions and strikethrough for deletions. These red-line changes to the standard revision draft are open for review and comment.
