Homes for Our Troops Builds Specially Adapted Homes for Severely Injured Veterans
ST. LOUIS — White-Rodgers, a business of Emerson Climate Technologies Inc., has announced a $2,000 donation to Homes for Our Troops.
Ron Miles, vice president of aftermarket sales, White-Rodgers, selected the organization to receive the Emerson Charitable Trust contribution.
Homes for Our Troops is an organization that builds specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. As of Sept. 20, 2014, Homes for Our Troops has built 168 specially adapted homes nationwide. There are currently 50 veterans on its active project list and the organization’s goal is to build a home for every veteran who qualifies for one of its homes.
