New Blue Monster® BIG PTFE thread sealing tape is designed to create dependable, leak-proof joints where a thicker, professional-grade density thread sealant is needed. This high-performance thread seal tape seals like pipe joint compound without a mess, and works effectively on iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, CPVC, ABS and fiberglass. Blue Monster® BIG PTFE thread seal tape is available in 1,429 inch rolls (over 119 feet of tape), for large pipe applications including oil field, natural gas and fracking operations, plumbing, heating, industrial and PVF markets. New Blue Monster® BIG compression seal tape can fix problem leaks under pressure on almost any material, from galvanized and cast iron to copper and all types of plastics and rubber, without turning off the water source. It also features self-fusing layers that form a waterproof seal by compression without the use of any adhesive. Pulling and wrapping the tape tightly around problem leaks creates a chemical reaction that fuses the layers of tape into a mass of silicone. Once fused, the silicon mass forms a heavy-duty bond on the leak or connection that serves as the emergency or long-term repair.
