Greenstar Home Services Raises $20,000 for Local Charities
Greenstar Contributes $1 for Every Service Call Run; Customers Have Opportunity to Match It
LAS VEGAS — Greenstar Home Services and its Greenstar Cares Program strives to improve the lives of individuals within the communities they serve. Through financial contributions, in-kind donations, and volunteerism, the program supports initiatives focused on enhancing opportunities in education, environment, advocacy, and health and wellness.
In November, Greenstar celebrated charity donations topping more than $20,000 in the last 36 months.
“Our core values focus on supporting the local community and contributing to the communities we serve,” said Jeremy Prevost, CEO, Greenstar.
Greenstar Home Services contributes $1 for every service call run. In addition to the $1, all customers have the opportunity to match it, for a total of $2 per call.
“Greenstar has literally saved lives,” said Gina Bongiovi, director, Vegas Shepherd Rescue.
“Like many other rescues, Vegas Shepherd Rescue is run exclusively by volunteers and depends entirely on donations. It usually costs more than $700 to pull a dog from a shelter and prepare it for adoption between spaying/neutering, vaccines, medical treatment, and boarding. During the first months of the year and especially in the summer, when more dogs are surrendered and precious few donations come in, Greenstar’s support enabled us to continue saving, medically treating, and finding new homes for homeless dogs. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
