MARIETTA, Ga., and DORTMUND, Germany — BACnet International and the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) have announced the schedule for the BACnet Global Roadshow 2015. Celebrating BACnet’s 20 years as an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard and 10 years as an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard, the roadshow highlights the migration from proprietary systems to open standards in building automation. Core topics are connected intelligence, security in buildings, and the role of IT in facility operation and building management systems.
