OJAI, Calif. — The Unified Group, a national organization of commercial HVAC contractors, announced Colorado Climate Maintenance (CCM) as its 2014 Member of the Year. Owners Sam and Pam De Angelis were presented with the award at The Unified Group’s Annual Meeting and Owners’ Forum held in Ojai, California.
CCM was recognized for being actively involved in planning and attending many of the group’s training sessions, opening its doors to many members for visits, recommending purchasing partners and another member to the group, and consistently looking at the big picture for The Unified Group.
“Never has a new member jumped in so fast and so far into the group,” said Julie Bishop, executive director, The Unified Group. “We feel like they’ve been here since the beginning, 16 years ago. De Angelis and his team have made such an impact on the members and the group. There hasn’t been a session, even those that they didn’t attend, where there wasn’t an offer to help.”
The Member of the Year Award is given to the member company that best embodies The Unified Group’s core goals of assisting the membership in growing their businesses and improving their bottom line profits, raising the level of excellence in the HVACR industry, providing members with the opportunity for continued improvement in all aspects of their businesses, and sharing best practices. CCM is the 12th company to join the Member of the Year Club.
