The TU ice machine service kit enables contractors to prepare for thermostatic expansion valve repairs in an ice machine. The kit includes an exchangeable orifice TU valve, type TUA, which can replace any OEM-specific thermostatic expansion valve (TXV). The kit has a selection of orifice sizes covering ice machines ranging 75-2,300 pounds of ice. It also has elbow connections, a bulb strap, and insulation tape. The replaceable orifice allows for capacity adaptations with a single valve and enables access to the screen for cleaning.
