ExecRank Screened Over 10,000 Chief Operating Officers in the United States
SAN FRANCISCO — ExecRank has selected Terry Johnston, executive vice president and president and chief operating officer for Lennox International’s North America Commercial Heating & Cooling business as a Top Chief Operating Officer for 2014. ExecRank said these rankings are based on statistical and algorithmic analysis of executive and company performance and are the result of over three years of research and feedback from evaluation committees and top COOs.
According to Chris Beaver, managing director of ExecRank, “We were extremely impressed with the achievements of Mr. Johnston. His work and reputation are highly regarded in the industry and amongst other chief operating officers.”
Johnston said, “This accolade from ExecRank is a reflection of all of the hard work, dedication, and passion of the thousands of employees at Lennox, and I am honored to accept it on their behalf. It’s truly a team effort and any success I may see is a result of the tremendous support from our customers and employees.”
ExecRank screened over 10,000 chief operating officers in the United States. The organization said there was a premium on experience and track record when considering the rankings, but also on chief operating officers who took bold steps to help their companies and employees grow and thrive. ExecRank weighed heavily the recommendations provided by the CEOs of the finalists as well.
