Sept. 25, 2014: PPC Launches Energy Management Services with Enerit Partner Agreement
PPC to Deliver Energy Management-as-a-Service Model
McLEAN, Va. — PPC has announced plans for a comprehensive suite of energy management services for industry and public sector clients, called EMneXus. As a part of these plans, PPC signed a partner agreement with energy management software company Enerit to offer clients an energy management-as-a-service model based on the ISO 50001 energy management system standard.
PPC’s partnership with Enerit combines PPC’s corporate energy management and analysis expertise gained through years of experience working with U.S. manufacturers and the U.S. Department of Energy, with Enerit’s energy management software, said to be the first providing complete coverage of ISO 50001. PPC’s EMneXus powered by Enerit is designed to provide energy managers with the tools and expertise needed to assess and optimize energy use. PPC will work with clients to optimize energy efficiency and apply best practices toward an energy management system and prepare for ISO 50001 certification.
EMneXus is a portfolio of energy management solutions ranging from express services tailored for clients in need of a quick baseline analysis or refresher course on energy efficiency to comprehensive, individualized guidance in meeting broad corporate goals. PPC’s EMneXus services will include on-site training and assessments, energy performance indicator evaluations, and customized energy management system development based upon each client’s individual needs.
PPC CEO Paul Strasser said, “This is a key step in our strategy to focus on growth markets of national and global significance, consistent with PPC’s strong past performance and our core strength of providing leading solutions in energy and environmental management. It also aligns with one of PPC’s strong cultural values of being at the forefront of green-thinking and social responsibility.”
