Sept. 18, 2014: DOE Proposes Rulemaking on Energy Efficiency Standards for PTACs and PTHPs
DOE Will Hold a Public Meeting/Webinar on the Proposed Rulemaking on Oct. 29, 2014
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has published a Federal Register notice of proposed rulemaking (NOPR) and public meeting for energy conservation standards for packaged terminal air conditioners (PTACs) and packaged terminal heat pumps (PTHPs).
DOE will hold the public meeting on the proposed rulemaking on Oct. 29, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Washington, District of Columbia. The meeting will also be broadcast as a webinar.
DOE also said it will accept comments, data, and information regarding the NOPR until Nov. 17, 2014.
