Acquisition Will Enable MiTek to Further Expand Its Industrial Business Segment
CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — MiTek Industries, a Berkshire Hathaway company, announced that it has acquired Ellis & Watts Global Industries. Ellis & Watts engineers, designs, and fabricates highly customized HVAC and other products sold into the nuclear, military, and other industrial end markets.
“By offering highly engineered HVAC and other solutions into a wide range of end markets, Ellis & Watts enables MiTek to further expand its Industrial Business segment. Ellis & Watts is a terrific fit within the MiTek family,” said Tom Manenti, chairman and CEO of MiTek. “Andrew Pike and Richard Porco, along with the entire management team, will continue to lead the company. Ellis & Watts will operate as a separate subsidiary of MiTek.”
